Algiers, Algeria | May 11th, 2025 — In a firm and forward-looking message delivered during her visit to the province of Ghardaïa on Sunday, Ibtissem Hamlaoui, President of the National Observatory for Civil Society, emphasized the urgent need to establish and reinforce constructive dialogue and effective communication channels with all components of Algerian civil society.

She further stressed the necessity of safeguarding the country’s stability and unity, warning against any attempt to disrupt national cohesion. “It is imperative to counter any force that seeks to undermine Algeria’s peace and social fabric,” she stated resolutely.

Hamlaoui also urged Algerians to cultivate a heightened civic consciousness and embrace a shared sense of responsibility, viewing this as an essential component of the nation’s democratic progress and long-term stability.
