ALGIERS- In a remarkable initiative, the Algerian mobile phone operator Mobilis ensured the travel of a significant number of national football team supporters to Côte d’Ivoire for the CAN 2023 finals.

Mobilis CEO, Chaouki Boukhazani , personally bid farewell to the mobilized fans heading to Côte d’Ivoire to cheer for the national team. The departure followed a competition organized by Mobilis, where 20 supporters were awarded an all-expenses-paid trip to accompany the Algerian team in the African Cup of Nations.

The company’s commitment to supporting the Algerian national team was evident in the competition, where Mobilis provided an opportunity for fans to win complimentary trips, covering transportation, accommodation, meals, and tickets to the national team’s matches. The initiative aimed to boost morale and encourage fans to rally behind their team as they compete for victory in the continental tournament.

Mobilis, through its official Facebook page, launched a thoughtful competition titled “Participate Here and Cheer There.” The competition posed a football-related question, “Who is the youngest Algerian player to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations throughout history?” The 10 most engaging and correct responses were selected as winners. The competition remained open until the specified deadline, ensuring that the participants possessed a valid passport with a minimum four-month validity.

In collaboration with Mobilis, the official page of the football club JS Kabylie also initiated an intellectual competition to win five free trips in support of the national team during the CAN in Côte d’Ivoire. This increases the total to 25 complimentary journeys. The question posed was, “Name five former international players who participated in the final stage of the Africa Cup of Nations while wearing JS Kabylie’s colors,” with the same conditions for participation.

Mobilis Extends the ‘Golden Opportunity’ Period for the Algeria National Football Team Fans’ Contest to Win a Trip to Cote d’Ivoire

Mobilis has decided to extend the “Golden Opportunity” period for the contest to win a trip to Cote d’Ivoire to support the Algeria National Football Team in the Africa Cup of Nations. The company announced through its Facebook account that, due to the overwhelming response to the contest, Mobilis is granting another golden chance, offering 20 new complimentary trips covering transportation, accommodation, meals, and match tickets for Algeria’s fans to cheer for their national team in the tournament.

According to Mobilis’ statement, the question of the day is, “What is the offer?” Participants are required to comment with the correct answer. The winner will be selected based on the most interactive comment, determined by the highest number of likes. The contest will continue until 6:00 PM, and participants must have a valid passport with at least four months of validity.

Mobilis reassured previous contest winners who were unable to complete their documentation that there are several trips available to transport them to watch the national team’s matches, ensuring their secured spots.

Mobilis, as the exclusive partner of the Algerian Football Federation, reaffirms its dedication to standing with the national team. The company expressed its support for the “Greens” as they embark on their journey to achieve notable results in the upcoming African Cup of Nations, scheduled from January 13 to February 11, 2024. Algeria’s national team will open its campaign against Angola on January 15, followed by matches against Burkina Faso on January 20 and Mauritania on January 23 in the group stage.
