The inauguration ceremony, held on Tuesday, was presided over by the Assistant Director General of SAA, Mohamed Benmicia, who underscored that the establishment of this new branch forms part of a broader strategic roadmap aimed at bringing insurance services closer to citizens while enhancing the company’s territorial coverage. In remarks delivered to Dzair Tube, he emphasized that this initiative is not merely administrative expansion, but a structural response to evolving client expectations, rooted in accessibility, responsiveness, and service efficiency.
Positioning itself as a historically embedded operator in Algeria’s insurance landscape, SAA continues to recalibrate its operational model toward a client-centric approach. This includes the deployment of modern digital tools, enhanced communication channels, and a diversified portfolio of insurance products tailored to both individuals and private-sector actors. The Gouraya branch, in this respect, is conceived as a localized interface designed to meet increasingly sophisticated demands through technologically supported services.
Beyond its immediate functional role, the new branch carries a broader developmental dimension. As highlighted by Benmicia, the wilaya of Tipasa—renowned for its touristic appeal as well as its agricultural and industrial potential—represents a strategic economic hub requiring structured insurance support.
