International Mathematics Competition in Bulgaria: Algeria Wins Five Medals

Algiers, Algeria | Algeria distinguished itself at the International Mathematics Competition for University Students recently held in Bulgaria, securing a total of five awards—two silver medals, two bronze medals, and an honorable mention—according to a statement from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

This outstanding achievement was made possible by the students Meddah Ahmed Adnane, Merabet Yasser, Kenane Youcef, Benmelouka Mohamed Amir, and Guerfi Choubila, who represented the National Higher School of Artificial Intelligence (ENSIA) in Sidi Abdellah and the Houari Boumediene University of Science and Technology (USTHB) in Bab Ezzouar, Algiers.

The competition brought together 343 students from 73 international universities, marking a highly competitive academic environment.

On this occasion, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamel Baddari, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Algerian laureates via his official social media accounts, celebrating their remarkable performance on the global stage.
