Johannesburg Tragedy: President Tebboune Extends Condolences to South African President

ALGIERS- The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has conveyed a heartfelt message of condolences to his South African counterpart, Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa, in the wake of the devastating fire that engulfed Johannesburg, claiming the lives of over 73 individuals, including 7 innocent children.

“With profound sorrow, we have received the distressing news of this catastrophic fire. On behalf of the Algerian People, I extend my deepest sympathies to the People and the Government of South Africa,” states a press release from the Presidency of the Republic, as reported by national television.
