Louisa Hannoune Reveals Insights from Her Meeting with President Tebboune

ALGIERS- Louisa Hannoune, the Secretary-General of the Workers’ Party, disclosed that during her meeting with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, she addressed “essential issues, notably the genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, along with the repercussions of regional and international developments.”

Hannoune emphasized that discussions also touched upon Algeria’s responsibility towards the Palestinian people and explored the renewal of commitments that, as she stated, have never been severed.

Additionally, Hannoune stated that talks with the President covered all economic, social, and political aspects. She highlighted that they discussed fortifying Algeria against what she termed “external harassment” by addressing all the challenges to ensure resilience amid the world’s current uncertainties.

Louisa Hannoune remarked, “In seeking means to protect the country in the face of a globally risky situation, Algeria is, of course, not immune. We must consider political measures that preserve and protect it.”
