Algiers – December 2025 – The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, expressed on Wednesday his country’s determination to strengthen and elevate bilateral relations with Algeria to “the highest possible level.” Lukashenko made these remarks during a press statement following his talks with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
Describing his visit to Algeria as a “historic” milestone in the relations between the two nations, Lukashenko emphasized the pragmatic approach he shared with President Tebboune. He affirmed being “impressed” by Algeria’s remarkable progress across multiple sectors, particularly in advanced technologies.
The Belarusian President hailed the “very important” agreements concluded during this visit, signaling a deepening of cooperation across strategic domains. He highlighted Belarus’s readiness to share its expertise, technical know-how, and advanced technologies with Algeria, noting that the country presents “highly promising” investment opportunities.
Lukashenko extended an invitation to President Tebboune, as well as Algerian government officials and technical experts, to visit Belarus, underscoring a mutual commitment to enhancing cooperation and consolidating ties in areas of shared interest.
