Minister Merad Visits Burns Hospital in Zéralda to Inquire About Injured Victims

Zéralda- In the wake of devastating fires that have swept through various regions of the country, leaving behind a trail of destruction and injuries, the Minister of the Interior, Mr. Brahim Merad, paid a heartfelt visit to the Burns Hospital “Said Chibane” in Zéralda. His visit aimed to inquire about the condition of those injured in the recent fires and to extend support to the affected families during these challenging times.

Joined by the Minister of National Solidarity, Mrs. Kaouter Krikou, Mr. Merad demonstrated the government’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of its citizens by also inquiring about the well-being and care of the victims who were evacuated from Tamanrasset following a tragic traffic accident in the southern wilaya.

Earlier on the same day, Mr. Merad received a solemn mandate from the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to offer his heartfelt condolences to the grieving families who lost their loved ones in the fires that claimed eight lives in Ain Benian, Algiers.

During his visit to the Burns Hospital in Zéralda, Minister Merad personally spoke with the injured victims, showing genuine concern for their well-being and progress. He conveyed the President’s deep sympathy for the victims and their families and emphasized the government’s dedication to stand by their side as they navigate through this painful ordeal.

In a solemn statement, Minister Merad reaffirmed the commitment of the public authorities to provide all necessary support and assistance to the affected families, both emotionally and practically. He highlighted that the government would ensure that those injured receive the best medical care possible and that the families of the victims would be given the necessary resources to cope with their loss.
