Algiers – October 2025 – In a testament to the deepening bonds between Algiers and Nouakchott, the Algerian Minister of National Solidarity, Family, and Women’s Affairs, Soraya Mouloudji, received today her Mauritanian counterpart, Safia Ntehah, Minister of Social Development of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania. The meeting, marked by a spirit of fraternity and mutual respect, underscored both nations’ shared commitment to advancing social inclusion and reinforcing bilateral cooperation.

For her part, Minister Safia Ntehah reaffirmed Mauritania’s firm desire to broaden cooperation frameworks with Algeria and intensify the exchange of expertise and successful practices in the social sector. She underlined that such collaboration serves not only the welfare of vulnerable populations but also fortifies the long-standing fraternal ties binding the two peoples.
