With clarity and conviction, the organization rejected the Moroccan regime’s fabrications, exposing the so-called “Gen Z” narrative as nothing more than an artificial construct designed to export Morocco’s internal crises—marked by poverty, unemployment, and the collapse of public services—while diverting attention from its population’s grim reality.
The statement drew a clear line between Algeria’s genuine social fabric and the subversive propaganda disseminated by media outlets tied to the Moroccan Makhzen. It underscored that these calls bear no relation to Algeria’s internal demands, but rather form part of a sterile political agenda aimed at destabilization. “Targeting Algeria with falsifications and fake news reflects nothing but an obsession—an illness—of a regime incapable of facing its own failures,” the organization affirmed, noting that Morocco’s own citizens are increasingly alienated from both their media and their ruling elite, whose discourse vacillates between hollow triumphalism and normalization with the Zionist entity.
Exposing the hypocrisy of self-styled “human rights defenders” abroad, the statement lambasted the “blind silence” of those who claim to champion freedoms yet remain mute before the repression inflicted upon Moroccan youth. “Is their silence driven by fear of losing the scraps of the Moroccan dirham and European funding, or is it sheer obedience to the Makhzen’s dictates?” the organization asked pointedly.
The statement also condemned attempts by foreign media outlets, notably “Al Arabiya,” to falsify history by fabricating hostility between Algeria and Egypt—an endeavor doomed to fail in the face of historical truths and bonds forged by common struggles. “Peoples are stronger than forgeries, and memory safeguards what lies cannot erase,” the communiqué stressed.
The organization further rejected the smear campaigns of mercenary channels unnerved by Algeria’s victorious diplomacy—one rooted in immutable principles: defense of just causes, unwavering support for Palestine, advocacy for Western Sahara’s right to self-determination, and the strengthening of Arab solidarity. Algeria’s independent voice continues to resonate with integrity at a time when others have chosen silence or subservience to normalization.
Recalling Algeria’s legacy, the statement struck a powerful chord: “To those insolent enough to malign the history of a nation watered by the blood of one and a half million martyrs, we say as our proverb goes: ‘The fool only reveals what he contains; every vessel exudes what fills it.’” No smear, whether emanating from “the neighbor of ill-will” in the West or from European and Arab capitals, can diminish Algeria’s grandeur or erase its glorious past.
The organization called upon all Algerian journalists, civil society actors, and national forces to remain vigilant, fortify internal unity, and defend Algeria’s unique model of social justice and sovereign statehood. It reaffirmed that Algeria remains resilient, shielded by the unity of its people, the professionalism of its free press, the strength of its People’s National Army—the heir of the Liberation Army—and its principled diplomacy that safeguards dignity while defending the causes of the oppressed.
The communiqué concluded with a reminder that the very escalation of such hostile campaigns is irrefutable proof of Algeria’s sound orientation, principled stance, and rising weight on both the regional and global stage.
