“Ooredoo Algeria,” qualitative progress and tangible success in 2022

ALGIERS– Ooredoo Algeria achieved outstanding successes during 2022, thanks to the adopted strategic vision aimed at enhancing its competitiveness, the effective strategies and the inspiring package of measures and procedures that were applied, the operational efficiency it enjoys in its operations, as well as the experience and efficiency of its management team and employees.
During the year 2022, the revenues of Ooredoo Algeria reached 86.7 billion Algerian dinars against 84.4 billion dinars in 2021, an increase of 2.8%. Earnings without interest, taxes, depreciation and provisions on fixed assets (EBITDA) reached 30.8 billion Algerian dinars in 2022, compared to 29.1 billion dinars in 2021, an increase of 5.7%, according to a statement issued by the company.
In terms of investments during the year 2022, Ooredoo Algeria devoted 18.3 billion Algerian dinars against 11.3 billion dinars during the year 2021, an increase of 61%. The customer base was estimated at 13 million subscribers at the end of December 2022.

The results for 2022 confirm, noted the press release, the viability of Ooredoo’s strategy with regard to the development of the national digital economy and local digital content as well as providing its customers with innovative solutions and services.
