ALGIERS- The Palestinian Red Crescent extends its heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to Algeria, its president, government, and people, for their unwavering support towards Palestine. In particular, “we are immensely grateful for Algeria’s prompt response in sending crucial humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, which has been unjustly subjected to Zionist aggression since October 7th,” said Raed Al-Nims, the media official at the Palestinian Red Crescent.
He emphasized Algeria’s consistent role as the primary supporter of the Palestinian people throughout history. He stated, “Algeria has always stood by our side during the trials and tribulations we face. Their recent decision to dispatch vital humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip is a testament to their unwavering commitment.” Al-Nims further added, “Today, Thursday, this much-needed aid has reached the Gaza Strip.”
Algeria’s support and solidarity with Palestine, particularly the Gaza Strip, in the face of brutal aggression, is commendable. Algerians have consistently provided aid and extended a helping hand to the Palestinian people during these challenging circumstances.
“As representatives of the Palestinian Red Crescent, we extend our deepest gratitude to the Algerian president, government, and people for their continuous support and unwavering solidarity with Palestine,” he noted.
Under the directive of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Algeria has taken the decisive step of sending vital humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing, utilizing an air bridge facilitated by the Air Force of the People’s National Army.
