PM Nadir Larbaoui Presides Over 4th Edition of President’s Prize for Amazigh Literature and Language

ALGIERS- Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui took the helm at the ceremony for the presentation of the President’s Prize for Amazigh Literature and Language in its 4th edition. The opening ceremony, held in conjunction with the celebration of the Amazigh New Year 2974 under the theme “Yennayer, an Authentic Cultural Treasure and Crucible for Sustainable Development,” unfolded at the Abdellatif Rahal International Conference Center in Algiers.

Attended by government officials, including members of the Cabinet, the President’s Advisor for Non-Governmental Organizations and Human Rights, Hamid Lounaouci, Si El-Hachemi Assad, the Secretary-General of the High Commission for Amazighity, and representatives from various sectors and organizations, the event marked a significant acknowledgment of Amazigh culture and language.

It is noteworthy that the official festivities for the Amazigh New Year, organized by the High Commission for Amazighity under the auspices of the President of the Republic and hosted by the Algiers Province this year, commenced on Wednesday at the National Army Circle in Béni Messous. The occasion reflects a commitment to recognizing and celebrating the rich cultural contributions of the Amazigh community.
