Political Parties, National Organizations Hail President Tebboune’s Resounding Re-election as a Mandate for Continued Progress

Algiers, Algeria | September 10th, 2024 — A wave of congratulations poured in on Monday from political parties and national organizations across Algeria, lauding President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s decisive re-election to the highest office for a second term. Among the political entities celebrating Tebboune’s victory, the National Entente Movement (MEN) expressed its profound satisfaction with the outcome, recognizing it as a pivotal moment in Algeria’s continued transformation. In his own statement, El-Karama party’s Secretary-General Mohamed Daoui referred to the re-election as a “mandate granted by the people to enable President Tebboune to continue implementing his wide-ranging reforms and comprehensive development programs, especially in the economic and social arenas.” Daoui underscored the election as a “decisive response” to detractors and critics, rejecting their efforts to spread misinformation and discredit Algeria’s path of progress.

The National Organization for Economic Development (ONDE) added its voice to the chorus of support, asserting that Tebboune’s re-election symbolizes the Algerian people’s deep trust in his vision for advancing economic growth and ensuring prosperity. “The president’s commitment to strengthening Algeria’s economic infrastructure and creating sustainable opportunities for its citizens has been a defining feature of his presidency,” the ONDE noted, pledging its continued support for his leadership in this new term.

Another endorsement came from the Union of Arab Agricultural Engineers (UIAA), which praised Tebboune’s significant contributions to Algeria’s agricultural sector and his leadership in promoting food security.
