President Tebboune Chairs Cabinet Meeting: Focus on Digitization, Imam’s Status, Pilot Farms

ALGIERS- President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Sunday, presided over a Cabinet meeting dedicated to crucial national matters. The discussions included a comprehensive review of the digitization process, an assessment of the status and compensation structure for imams, and a presentation on pilot farms.

The focal point of the meeting was the progress report on Algeria’s ongoing digital transformation. Acknowledging the paramount importance of embracing technology for the nation’s advancement, President Tebboune and the Council of Ministers delved into the current state of the digitization initiatives. Additionally, the Cabinet meeting tackled the intricate matter of the status and indemnity system for imams, underscoring the government’s commitment to addressing the needs of religious leaders.
