Algiers – September 2025 – President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Monday conveyed warm congratulations to Algeria’s academic community—including students, professors, and all staff within the higher education and scientific research sector—on the occasion of the launch of the 2025–2026 university year.
In a message published on his official social media accounts, the Head of State underscored his steadfast support for the nation’s youth as the cornerstone of Algeria’s future. “My best wishes of success and excellence to our dear students in universities, institutes, and higher schools across the national territory, on the occasion of the university reopening,” the President wrote, reaffirming his confidence in the transformative role of knowledge and education.
President Tebboune also addressed Algeria’s academic staff and sector employees with words of recognition and encouragement, emphasizing their critical contribution to the advancement of higher learning and research. “I wish our esteemed professors and all the workers in the higher education and scientific research sector a successful academic year,” he added, before closing his message with a solemn tribute: “Glory and eternity to our valiant martyrs. Long live Algeria.”
