President Tebboune Highlights Total Synergy with Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb and Reaffirms Algeria-Qatar Partnership in Strategic Dairy Project

Algiers – September 2025 – During his regular question-and-answer session with representatives of the national press on Friday evening, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune underlined the “total synergy” that characterizes the working relationship between himself and Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb, stressing that their alignment is essential to the implementation of the government’s program.
The President directly addressed the recent wide-ranging government reshuffle, affirming his confidence in the new head of government. He described Sifi Ghrieb as a “man of the field,” whose numerous on-site visits and practical engagement stand in contrast to past practices where instructions from the highest level often failed to translate into concrete action. “This era is over,” Tebboune declared, affirming that the New Algeria is accelerating its development with promising achievements and profound transformations expected in the near future.
The Head of State emphasized that the ongoing reforms and initiatives aim to enhance the standard and quality of life of Algerian citizens, consolidating the nation’s progress toward modernization and sustainable growth.
On the economic front, President Tebboune highlighted the major dairy production megaproject, conceived as a strategic initiative to strengthen food security and reduce dependency on imports. Within this context, he strongly denounced the recent criminal and terrorist attack suffered by the State of Qatar, describing it as a “friendly and brotherly nation” and a “direct partner in this major project.”
Tebboune reiterated Algeria’s solidarity with Qatar, reaffirming that bilateral cooperation in such strategic ventures reflects the depth of mutual trust and the shared vision for economic resilience.
