Algiers – December 2025 – On the sidelines of the official opening ceremony of the 33rd edition of the National Production Fair, President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune inaugurated, at the Exhibition Palace – Pins Maritimes (SAFEX) in Algiers, a new exhibition space officially named the “Palestine Pavilion”.
This inauguration constitutes a strong symbolic and political gesture, reflecting Algeria’s principled and steadfast position in support of the Palestinian cause, while embedding this commitment within a major national economic event dedicated to showcasing Algerian production and industrial capabilities.
On this occasion, the Director General of SAFEX provided the Head of State with a detailed presentation outlining the specific features and objectives of the newly inaugurated pavilion, which has been designed as a dedicated space highlighting Palestine within the broader framework of the National Production Fair.
Following the inauguration, President Tebboune proceeded to visit several stands across the fair, where he reviewed the diversity and depth of Algeria’s productive fabric. During this tour, the Minister of Internal Trade and Market Regulation delivered a comprehensive briefing on the national industrial landscape and the services sector, emphasizing the evolution of domestic production and the efforts undertaken to strengthen economic sovereignty.
