President Tebboune Offers Condolences on Passing of Major General Ahcène Slimane

ALGIERS – Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune expressed his heartfelt condolences and deep sympathy to the family of the late Major General Ahcène Slimane, former Deputy Commander of the 6th Military Region, who passed away on Saturday.

In an official statement, President Tebboune, who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defense, conveyed his sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and all members of the People’s National Army (ANP). He prayed for the Almighty Allah to surround the departed soul with His holy mercy and welcome him into His vast paradise. The message concludes with, “To Allah, we belong, and to Him, we shall return.”

Major General Ahcène Slimane served as the Deputy Commander of the 6th Military Region, contributing to the defense and security of the nation.
