President Tebboune Receives Letters of Credence from Five Newly Appointed Ambassadors

Algiers – December 2025 – President Abdelmadjid Tebboune presided on Sunday over an official ceremony at the Presidency, during which he received the letters of credence of five newly accredited ambassadors to Algeria, marking a renewed diplomatic momentum and the reinforcement of Algeria’s bilateral relations with several strategic partners.
The ceremony, conducted with full protocol honors, brought together high-ranking officials and witnessed the formal accreditation of Ambassador Ahed Sweidat of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, whose appointment reflects the shared interest in consolidating political cooperation and deepening economic and cultural ties between the two nations. The President also received the letters of credence of Imad Saab Saab, ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, reaffirming the traditional solidarity and mutual support that have long characterized Algerian-Venezuelan relations within international fora.
Similarly, the accreditation of Ali El-Mawla as Ambassador of the Republic of Lebanon is viewed as an opportunity to enhance historical bonds and pursue collaborative initiatives amid regional challenges, while the appointment of Marek Moran, ambassador of the Slovak Republic, opens prospects for expanded cooperation with Central Europe, particularly in trade, industry, and technology.
The ceremony concluded with the reception of Juan Claudio Valenzuela, ambassador of the Republic of Chile, whose mission is expected to strengthen relations with Latin America, where Algeria continues to cultivate a principled and dynamic diplomatic presence.
