Algiers – October 2025 – President of the Republic, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and Minister of National Defence, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received on Tuesday the Tunisian Minister of Defence, Khaled Sehili, accompanied by a high-ranking delegation. The meeting reaffirmed the depth of the historical and strategic ties uniting Algeria and Tunisia, two nations bound by shared security interests and a common vision for regional stability.
The audience took place in the presence of the Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, General of the Army Saïd Chanegriha, alongside Boualem Boualem, Director of the Cabinet at the Presidency of the Republic.
