President Tebboune Visits Slovenia’s Lipica Stud Farm: A Tribute to Centuries of Equine Heritage

Algiers, Algeria | May 14th, 2025 —  On the third day of his state visit to the Republic of Slovenia, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, accompanied by his Slovenian counterpart, President Natasa Pirc Musar, paid a high-profile visit to the historic Lipica Stud Farm—an iconic institution regarded as a cornerstone of European equestrian tradition.

These performances served as a vivid narrative of Slovenia’s rich equestrian history and the legacy of the Lipizzaner breed—a cultural symbol with deep historic roots.

President Tebboune expressed his deep admiration for the demonstrations presented and showed particular interest in the history and operations of the center. On-site experts provided him with a detailed briefing on the activities and significance of the Lipica Stud Farm, underlining its role as both a cultural treasure and an active participant in modern equestrian disciplines.
