President Tebboune welcomes level of Algeria’s relations with Qatar, Saudi Arabia

ALGIERS– The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, welcomed  the level of Algeria’s relations with the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In an interview granted to the Qatari news channel “Al Jazeera”, President Tebboune indicated that relations with the State of Qatar are “fraternal and very good” as is known to all, welcoming the rapprochement between the leaders of the two sisterly countries.

Regarding relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, President Tebboune specified that “they date back to the time of the National Liberation Revolution, welcoming, in this context, the position of Saudi Arabia in favor of the Algerian Revolution, and the honorable positions of the late King Faisal who was, he noted, “one of the greatest leaders of the Arab Nation”.

He also underlined “the quality of Algerian-Saudi relations”, reaffirming Algeria’s support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its rejection of any attempt that targets it or aims to undermine its security.
