Prime Minister Larbaoui Presides Over Presidential Award Ceremony Honoring Algeria’s Most Innovative Researchers

Algiers, Algeria | May 20th, 2025 — In a momentous national celebration of innovation and scientific excellence, Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui presided on Tuesday over the ceremony of the Presidential Award for the Innovative Researcher, held at the Scientific and Technological Hub “Chahid Abdelhafid Ihaddaden” in Sidi Abdellah, Algiers.

The Presidential Prize for the Innovative Researcher is awarded to teacher-researchers, hospital-university researchers, permanent research staff, and university students whose work demonstrates exceptional originality, scientific merit, and economic relevance. The award’s mission is to recognize Algerian minds pushing the boundaries of science and contributing directly to the nation’s strategic priorities and sustainable development goals.

This year’s edition includes six laureates: three in the category of academic researchers and three in the category of students, all selected based on stringent evaluation criteria and multidisciplinary impact.
