Algerian Red Crescent Under Fire: President Hamlaoui Defends Organization Against Baseless Accusations Amid Flood Relief Efforts

She specified that the aid consists of essential items, such as bedding, blankets, clothing for both children and adults, and other crucial relief materials. “We ensure that all items provided meet the standards of excellence required for the well-being of our citizens, especially in times of crisis,” she emphasized.

The Red Crescent leader also made it clear that the organization coordinates closely with local authorities to determine the specific needs of each region, a process designed to ensure that no old or subpar goods enter the distribution channels. “Our warehouses are well-stocked, and there is no room for outdated or inferior products. Every item sent out has been carefully vetted to meet the needs of the affected communities,” she added.

In a pointed response to the critics, Hamlaoui extended an open invitation to anyone questioning the integrity of the ARC’s operations. “Our main storage facility in Blida is open to inspection at any time. We have nothing to hide, and we welcome any individual or organization that wishes to verify the quality of our supplies.
