RND Secretary-General Bouden: “Algeria Stands Above All Considerations, a Conscience of the Arab World”

Algiers – October 2025 – In an address delivered in Chlef, Mounder Bouden, Secretary-General of the National Democratic Rally (RND), issued a powerful reminder of Algeria’s unyielding role as a pillar of Arab dignity and resistance against disinformation campaigns. Declaring unequivocally that “Algeria is above all consideration,” Bouden underscored that the ongoing attacks and maneuvers targeting the nation are in fact evidence of its undeniable influence. “Algeria disturbs. President Tebboune disturbs,” he asserted, framing the orchestrated campaigns as proof of the country’s steadfast independence and credibility.
The RND leader condemned a recent fabrication disseminated by an Arab media outlet—a digitally generated audio clip falsely attributed to late Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser questioning Algeria’s support for Arab causes. Amplified on social media platforms, the AI-manipulated podcast attempted to cast doubt on Algeria’s historic record of solidarity. “Let there be no ambiguity,” Bouden countered, “Algeria is the country that has given the most to the Arab community. It has been and will always remain the conscience of the Arab world. This is a source of pride for us all.”
Highlighting Algeria’s resilience, Bouden emphasized that the nation’s strength lies in its institutions and the unity of its people, a society that cannot be shaken by the “ephemeral tremors of Facebook and TikTok.”
Turning to regional threats, the RND Secretary-General issued a warning regarding the western neighbor’s involvement in fueling narcotrafficking, accusing it of deploying extensive resources to flood Algeria with psychotropic substances. He also addressed the urgent issue of irregular migration, particularly its devastating impact on young people, calling for coordinated national action to protect the country’s future generations.
On the international front, Bouden strongly denounced the recent Zionist seizure of the Soumud flotilla, which sought to break the blockade imposed on Gaza. He urged the national community to stand in solidarity with the courageous figures who initiated this humanitarian mission, insisting that their protection is a national duty.
