Saidal Group Announces Breakthrough: 120 New Medicines Set to Revolutionize Treatment for Chronic Diseases by End of 2024

ALGIERS- Wassim Kouidri, the CEO of Saidal Group, revealed during a radio interview on National Radio 1 that 120 new medicines for incurable diseases would be commercialized before the end of 2024. He mentioned that 30 medicines targeting cardiovascular diseases are part of the plan. Kouidri emphasized that Saidal Group intends to promote genetic treatment as an alternative for 60% of conventional medicines for this disease, requiring the adoption of a new strategy.

The goal is to increase the production of medicines that provide added value, particularly those designed for cancerous tumors. The CEO of Saidal Group aims to ensure an ample supply of raw materials for antibiotic production at reasonable prices, aligning with patients’ purchasing power.

The objective is to meet national needs in organizing the pharmaceutical market, reaching a threshold of 27% by the end of the year. Kouidri also mentioned plans to organize high-level training sessions in biotechnology during 2024-2025, covering various levels in the field of doctoral research.
