Sonatrach: CEO Rachid Hachichi Installs 20 New Members to Sonatrach’s Scientific and Technical Advisory Council

ALGIERS– In a statement released today, the state-owned oil and gas company Sonatrach announced the installation of 20 new members to the Scientific and Technical Advisory Council. The CEO of the company, Mr. Rachid Hachichi, conducted the installation ceremony in Algiers, marking the commencement of the new council’s three-year term.
According to the statement, the Scientific and Technical Advisory Council plays a pivotal role in ensuring the coherence of the company’s scientific policy. Additionally, the council is responsible for validating the scientific and technological project portfolio and strategy proposed by the central research department. It oversees the performance, monitoring, and evaluation of research activities while promoting resource sharing for applied research among different company structures.
