ALGIERS- Sonelgaz, the Algerian state-owned electricity and gas utility, announced in a statement released this Wednesday a record-breaking export revenue of over €219 million for the year 2023.

“In line with the directives of the country’s highest authorities aimed at diversifying the national economy, Sonelgaz is pleased to announce a significant increase in exports during the fiscal year 2023, exceeding €219 million,” the statement reads.

According to the same source, these exports encompass electricity, advanced equipment manufactured in Algeria, and professional training services.
