He reaffirmed that the “New Algeria,” spearheaded by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has enshrined the safeguarding of historical memory as a national priority. This commitment is manifested through a series of initiatives, including the institutionalization of May 8 as a national remembrance day and the launch of a dedicated television channel focused exclusively on Algerian history.

“The duty of remembrance is a collective responsibility,” Nasri declared. “Through memory, we uphold the soul of the nation and project it forward.”

Reaffirming the role of the Council of the Nation as a unifying force, he noted that the institution serves as a crucible for all initiatives that aim to bolster national cohesion and rekindle the spirit of November—an ethos that continues to animate Algeria’s democratic and developmental trajectory.

The mujahideen, for their part, voiced their deep appreciation for President Tebboune’s unwavering commitment to honoring the national memory. They reiterated their pledge to actively contribute to the moral and civic education of younger generations, ensuring that the revolutionary message of November remains alive and relevant. Moreover, they reaffirmed their support for all measures that defend national sovereignty and serve the supreme interests of the Algerian state in today’s turbulent geopolitical climate.
