ALGIERS – The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has charged the Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, with a significant responsibility – to strengthen the bilateral ties between Algeria and Zimbabwe in the crucial sectors of energy and mining. Commencing today, Minister Arkab is leading a high-powered delegation to Zimbabwe for a three-day working visit, aimed at fostering cooperation and collaboration in areas of mutual interest.

The Algerian delegation, comprising top executives from key entities including Sonatrach, Sonelgaz, Sonarem, and Naftal, alongside esteemed ministry officials, seeks to explore opportunities and share expertise with Zimbabwean counterparts. This visit stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment of both nations to foster long-term partnerships that will contribute to their shared economic growth and development.

In a press release issued by the Ministry of Energy and Mines, it was emphasized that this visit would specifically focus on strengthening collaboration in the energy and mining sectors, with a particular emphasis on hydrocarbons, oil, and electricity.
