Telecom Algeria Group Launches ICT-Focused Incubator in Collaboration with USTBH

ALGIERS- Telecom Algeria Group, in collaboration with USTBH, has inaugurated its first incubator specializing in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The launch of this project aims to instill “entrepreneurial spirit among students” and encourage them to “actively participate in the development of innovative projects,” the group stated in a press release.
The project is part of a broader roadmap that includes the incorporation of other universities nationwide in the near future, according to the Telecom Algeria Group. The initiative underlines the group’s commitment to “support Algerian universities and provide an opportunity for intellectual contributions to economic and national development.” It emphasizes the ongoing dedication of Telecom Algeria Group to knowledge promotion by fostering scientific research.
Additionally, the collaboration strengthens the connection between the economic and academic sectors, creating an environment conducive to innovation and the emergence of promising talents, the statement added. The ICT-focused incubator is poised to play a pivotal role in nurturing and advancing technological and entrepreneurial endeavors within Algeria’s academic landscape.
