Transport Minister Saïd Sayoud Reviews Final Preparations Ahead of IATF 2025

Algiers – September 2025 – In a move underscoring Algeria’s determination to showcase its transport sector as a cornerstone of continental integration, Minister of Transport Saïd Sayoud conducted a thorough inspection this Wednesday of the transport pavilions at the Exhibition Palace, ahead of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025), scheduled from September 4 to 10.
During his visit, Minister Sayoud closely examined the progress of preparations and the final adjustments being made to the sector’s exhibition spaces. He insisted on the imperative of delivering a distinguished and professional image that reflects not only the dynamism of Algeria’s transport infrastructure but also the country’s strategic role in facilitating African and international trade flows.
Sayoud emphasized that the transport sector, as a backbone of economic development, must be presented in a manner that highlights Algeria’s modern capabilities in aviation, maritime, rail, and logistics. By doing so, Algeria seeks to position itself as a continental hub capable of connecting African markets with global trade routes.
“The credibility of our sector and the reputation of Algeria depend on our ability to demonstrate innovation, efficiency, and reliability,” the minister remarked, stressing that every detail of the presentation should embody the country’s ambition to lead in regional connectivity.
