Turkey Approves Appointment of Boumédiène Guennad as Algeria’s New Ambassador to Ankara

Algiers, Algeria | May 17th, 2025 —  The Turkish government has officially approved the appointment of Boumédiène Guennad as Algeria’s new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ankara. The decision was announced in a statement issued by Algeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad. The communiqué confirmed that Boumédiène Guennad will assume his diplomatic post in the Turkish capital, representing Algeria at the highest level.
