Who is Noureddine Daoudi, the New President and CEO of Sonatrach?

Algiers – October 2025 – Noureddine Daoudi was officially installed today, Sunday, as the President and CEO of Sonatrach.
Daoudi has held significant responsibilities within the company for more than two decades. His most recent position was Director of the National Agency for the Valorization of Hydrocarbon Resources (ALNAFT) from April 2020 until June 2023. Previously, he served as a Central Director at Sonatrach, the company he now leads, from July 2007 to August 2012.
The newly appointed CEO brings over twenty years of experience in the energy sector, according to reports from local media.
For reference, Noureddine Daoudi holds an engineering degree in geology.
