In a press release issued this Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the cancellation of all festivities, ceremonies, and preparations for the commemoration of November 1 at embassies, consulates, and other diplomatic representations of Algeria abroad.
According to reliable sources, this decision has been made in response to an instruction from the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, as a demonstration of unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people. The Palestinian population is currently enduring a brutal and genocidal war, inflicted upon them by Zionist forces.
The cancellation of these commemorative events serves as a powerful statement against the ongoing aggression and atrocities committed against Gaza. It reflects Algeria’s firm stance in condemning such acts of violence and its commitment to standing by the oppressed.
By taking this action, Algeria aims to send a clear message to the international community, emphasizing the urgent need for a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
Algeria, as a nation, firmly believes in the principles of justice, equality, and human rights. It stands united with the Palestinian people, advocating for their right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state.
In light of the current situation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs urges the international community to join forces in condemning the Zionist aggression and to work towards a just and lasting peace in the region.
