ALGIERS- The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, received a phone call from his American counterpart, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, on Monday, March 25, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a public statement.
According to the same source, the foreign ministers of both countries exchanged their views on the developments in the Gaza Strip, particularly on the ongoing negotiations within the Security Council regarding the draft resolution presented by the “E-10” group of elected Council members. This resolution aims to establish an immediate, sustainable, and unconditional ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
It is worth noting that within the “E-10” group, the aforementioned draft resolution is an initiative of Algeria, which negotiated its content with other Security Council members.
