Algeria is set to host the second edition of the business forum “Builders Confluence 2026,” taking place from April 4 to 6 in Algiers. The event will focus on innovation across the construction, public works, and hydraulics sectors (BTPH), reflecting the country’s commitment to advancing technological integration in key infrastructural domains.

Organized under the patronage of the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups, and Micro-Enterprises, the forum will be held at the Higher School of Hospitality and Catering (ESHRA). It will bring together institutional partners, including Algeria Venture, the National Agency for the Promotion and Rationalization of Energy Use (APRUE), the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI), and the National Council of the Order of Architects (CNOA), among other public institutions.

The forum aims to convene public and private stakeholders, project leaders, investors, and start-ups, fostering the integration of innovative solutions into projects across the BTPH sectors in Algeria. Organizers indicate that the event will also facilitate the signing of agreements and the implementation of solutions on the ground. A dedicated digital platform will extend professional exchanges beyond the forum, enabling the identification of new opportunities for collaboration.

The program will cover multiple themes, including smart cities, energy efficiency, digitalization, the intersection of heritage and new technologies, as well as urban planning and architecture.

Participation will include around twenty Algerian experts, along with members of the diaspora based in Canada, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, and Switzerland, underscoring the forum’s international scope and Algeria’s intention to draw on global expertise to enhance domestic innovation.
