Algiers – October 2025 – Huawei Algeria has officially announced the launch of the new edition of its prestigious international contest, the “Huawei ICT Competition 2025–2026,” an initiative dedicated to nurturing young talent in information and communication technologies (ICT). Algerian students have already demonstrated remarkable success in previous editions of the Huawei ICT Competition. Over the past six years, Algerian university teams have consistently achieved top international rankings, earning multiple awards and reaffirming Algeria’s reputation as a hub of emerging technological talent in Africa and beyond.
The organization of the Huawei ICT Competition in Algeria is carried out in close collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, underscoring the national commitment to promoting digital literacy and fostering technological innovation among youth.
As a global educational and innovation platform, the competition brings together students, teachers, and technology experts from around the world to exchange knowledge, encourage research, and strengthen practical ICT skills.
