President Tebboune announces reduction in ticket prices for diaspora in Portugal

ALGIERS- President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune met with representatives of the Algerian community residing in Portugal during his state visit to the country. The President was attentive to their concerns and proposals, emphasizing his commitment to making their voices heard and taking their concerns into account.

During the meeting, President Tebboune highlighted Algeria’s new economic era, built on solid and sustainable foundations. He also mentioned the facilities provided to the Algerian community abroad to invest in their homeland, as well as measures taken to strengthen their ties with Algeria and involve them in the country’s development process.

The President also reminded the community of discounts on ticket prices for summer holidays in Algeria with their families. Additionally, he instructed Algerian diplomatic and consular missions to mobilize lawyers to defend the interests of Algerians living abroad in the event of injustice.

President Tebboune’s visit to Portugal aims to confirm the historical ties between the two countries and strengthen their partnership in various fields. With a large ministerial delegation accompanying him, the President’s visit is a promising step towards further cooperation and collaboration between Algeria and Portugal.
