According to his statements, land has been deliberately cleared in an area already entirely devastated by bombardment to install a closed facility whose access points will be regulated through biometric surveillance systems.
This camp is being presented by the Zionist entity as a form of โaccommodationโ for Palestinians who allegedly โwish to leave Gazaโ following a partial reopening of the Rafah crossing, within the framework of a plan devised in Washington. In reality, this supposed freedom of choice is exercised under conditions of total destruction, engineered famine and military suffocation. Since October 2023, Gaza has been systematically rendered uninhabitable, with civilians driven southward under relentless bombardment, only to be enclosed once again.
Although Avivi does not formally speak on behalf of the occupation army, his remarks confirm a clearly articulated strategic orientation. Reuters had previously reported that the Zionist entity seeks to ensure that the number of Palestinians leaving Gaza exceeds those permitted to enter. Today, Rafah has been virtually emptied of its population, according to Avivi himself.
