The 6th Algerian Products Fair Opens in Nouakchott

ALGIERS- The 6th edition of the Algerian Products Fair in Mauritania commenced on Thursday in Nouakchott, featuring 183 exhibitors, according to a statement from the Ministry of Commerce.

The opening ceremony was chaired by the Algerian Ambassador to Mauritania, Mr. Mohamed Benattou, the Mauritanian Secretary-General of the Ministry of Commerce, Mr. Amadou El-Hadj Gueye, and the Director-General of the Algerian Company for Fairs and Exhibitions (SAFEX). Also in attendance were the two presidents of the Algero-Mauritanian Business Council, the Secretary-General of the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI), and numerous business leaders and presidents of Algerian and Mauritanian economic groups, the statement indicated.

This sixth edition will showcase the participation of 183 exhibitors from various economic sectors of Algeria, as part of the country’s program to promote its economic events abroad.

“This event also serves as an annual economic gathering, enabling the people of Mauritania to access Algerian products, which are highly sought after in the Mauritanian market. This reflects the joint efforts of both countries’ authorities to enhance economic cooperation and showcase Algerian products and capabilities across various sectors,” the statement elaborated.
