International Women’s Forum: Over 100 local and international media covering the event

The International Forum on the Contribution of Women in the Development of the Economy (IWF), organized by the General Confederation of Algerian Enterprises (CGEA), has an intense presence of national and international media, which has exceeded 100 media.

The IWF, which is organized under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, will see the participation of 100 startups, 500 micro-enterprises and more than 500 companies from the private and public sector as well as representatives of the Algerian diaspora abroad.

The forum will bring together 245 foreign businesswomen, including Sheikha Hind Al Qasimi of the United Arab Emirates, in addition to the presence of Fayez Ali Al-Mutairi, director of the Arab Labor Organization.

The activities of this meeting will also be followed by the public authorities and diplomatic representations in Algeria.

The forum, which will take place over two days, from today, Saturday, at the International Conference Center (CIC), aims, in particular, through an exchange around the issue of the involvement of women and its contribution in economic and social development, to « revisit the path taken in the process of emancipation of Algerian women, and to situate the place and role played by women in the contemporary history of Algeria », indicate the organizers.
