Western Sahara: arrival of symbolic humanitarian aid from Panama

Symbolic humanitarian aid from the State of Panama arrived on Tuesday at the Sahrawi refugee camps, indicates the Sahrawi press agency (SPS).

This aid, which includes medical equipment, medicines, school items and food products, was given by the Panamanian association for solidarity with the Sahrawi cause.

This initiative is part of the campaign of solidarity with the Saharawi people in which all categories of Saharawi civil society and trade unions participated.

The Saharawi ambassador in Panama, Sid Ahmed El-Derbali stressed that this symbolic humanitarian aid is part of the solidarity of civil society in Panama with the Saharawi people and their just cause ».

Members of the Saharawi Red Crescent and members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received this aid at the headquarters of the Red Crescent in Chahed El-Hafedh.
