Algeria–Niger Parliamentary Talks Held on Sidelines of Inter-Parliamentary Meeting

The Speaker of Algeria’s People’s National Assembly, Brahim Boughali, held bilateral talks with Mamoudou Harouna Djingarey, President of the Consultative Council of the Nigerien Transition, on the sidelines of the 152nd General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), currently taking place in Türkiye, according to an APN statement.
The meeting focused on bilateral relations between Algeria and Niger and ways to further strengthen them in line with broader shared aspirations. Both sides also reviewed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
Parliamentary relations were also discussed, with an emphasis on enhancing consultation and coordination between the legislative institutions of the two countries.
