Algeria Sets August 15 for 2027 Hajj Pilgrims Draw
Algeria’s Ministry of Interior has announced that the draw to determine the final list of pilgrims for the 1448H/2027 Hajj season will take place on August 15 at municipal headquarters and other designated venues across the country.

ALGIERS — Algeria’s Ministry of Interior, Local Assemblies and Transport announced on Thursday that the draw to determine the final list of pilgrims selected for the 1448H/2027 Hajj season will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
According to a ministry statement, the draw will take place at the headquarters of municipal assemblies (APCs) or at other suitable venues designated by local authorities nationwide.
The ministry said the operation will finalize the official lists of Algerian pilgrims eligible to perform the 2027 Hajj, corresponding to the 1448 Hijri season.
It also called on all citizens who have registered for the draw to attend and follow the proceedings of the selection process, which will be conducted simultaneously at the designated locations across the country.
The annual draw is organized to determine the final list of Algerian pilgrims authorized to perform Hajj under the national quota allocated to Algeria for the upcoming pilgrimage season.
