ALGIERS, July 8 — The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) will hold a meeting of its Federal Bureau on Saturday, with the future direction of the national team expected to be among the main issues discussed.
The meeting, chaired by FAF President Walid Sadi, comes as the federation reviews sporting priorities following the conclusion of Algeria’s World Cup participation and looks ahead to upcoming international commitments.
Key topics are expected to include the technical staff’s future, preparations for the next competitive cycle and the process of renewing the national team squad.
Technical staff under review
One of the central issues expected to attract attention is the future of head coach Vladimir Petković, whose contract with the FAF runs until 2028.
