In a dynamic display of political engagement, Abdelkader Bengrina, President of the El Bina Movement, inaugurated the first edition of the party’s Summer University, a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening youth leadership and consolidating national consciousness.
The event, hosted at the party’s national headquarters in Chéraga, unfolds under the theme: “National Mobilization to Safeguard Sovereignty and Foster Development.” The program seeks to cultivate a new generation of informed and committed young leaders capable of contributing effectively to Algeria’s socio-political and economic trajectory.
In this vein, Bengrina delivered a keynote address, underscoring the pivotal role of youth in defending Algeria’s sovereignty and spearheading sustainable development. “The nation’s future rests on the shoulders of an enlightened generation, committed to safeguarding its independence and driving its progress,” he affirmed, framing youth empowerment as both a patriotic duty and a strategic necessity.
Reiterating the movement’s unwavering stance on the Palestinian cause, Bengrina stressed its enduring relevance as the central issue of the Muslim world. He urged participants to uphold a culture of solidarity, advocacy, and conscious support for Palestine, emphasizing that such commitment remains integral to Algeria’s identity and foreign policy doctrine.
The Summer University is designed as a comprehensive framework for capacity building, offering a blend of advanced training modules, interactive workshops, and open intellectual dialogues with national leaders and policymakers. This initiative aligns with the El Bina Movement’s broader vision of shaping a politically mature, ethically grounded, and development-oriented youth cadre.
