Algeria’s Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb received Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Foreign Minister Elmedin Konaković in Algiers on Monday, as the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and reaffirmed their intention to strengthen cooperation across multiple sectors.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office, the talks focused on the current state and future prospects of relations, with both parties confirming their shared commitment to consolidating ties through stronger institutional frameworks and more active bilateral cooperation mechanisms.

Discussions also addressed ways to expand economic cooperation and trade, notably by intensifying contacts between business communities in both countries. The aim is to support the development of partnerships capable of leveraging opportunities arising from Algeria’s ongoing economic reforms, launched under the direction of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to improve the national business environment.

The meeting reflects a continued effort to translate political alignment into structured economic engagement, with both sides seeking to advance practical cooperation and unlock new avenues for bilateral growth.
