Pharmaceutical sector stakeholders urged to secure steady supply to national market

Algiers — Wassim Kouidri met with economic operators active in the pharmaceutical industry, in the presence of Abdelrahim Zouhir Nader, president of the National Union of Pharmacy Operators (UNOP), and Abdelouahed Kerrar, vice-president of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA).
The meeting provided a platform to raise sectoral concerns and assess supply chain challenges affecting the pharmaceutical market.
The minister issued guidance calling for strengthened coordination among stakeholders to ensure continuous availability of medicines on the national market.
He stressed the need to secure sufficient pharmaceutical stocks to meet citizen demand and maintain market stability.
